GDM Design Thinkers

Students in Design Process class were given an assignment to create a poster design to promote a fictional event at the 2011 RGD Design Thinkers conference. Each student was assigned a different designer of historical significance. The challenge was to produce a design that promoted the event, was uniquely their own, yet was influenced and/or inspired by the signature work of their assigned designer. Entries were judged by a panel of experts at RGD Ontario and the winner was awarded free entrance to the 2011 Design Thinkers conference. The winner from this class was Irene Gurbein. However, the panel pointed out that they had a hard time deciding between her and the runner up Jody Kamen.
